# Bible Note vs From Bible

The clearest difference is monetization model: From Bible at free with in-app purchases against Bible Note's subscription. From Bible also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and review sentiment (78% vs 66%). Bible Note's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (24K vs 2.4K). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Note sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and From Bible sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Bible Note against 4.8 for From Bible. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Note has 24K ratings behind it against 2.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Bible Note's written reviews are positive against 78% of From Bible's.

Bible Note ships an update weekly, From Bible every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
