# Cloudflare Remote vs HeC

Cloudflare Remote and HeC both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of HeC's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cloudflare Remote's. HeC also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). Cloudflare Remote's advantage is ratings volume (89 vs 3) and chart position (#65 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloudflare Remote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and HeC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Cloudflare Remote against 4.7 for HeC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloudflare Remote has 89 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of Cloudflare Remote's written reviews are positive against 100% of HeC's.

Cloudflare Remote ships an update every 4 weeks, HeC every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
