# Create AI vs Whiteboard

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Whiteboard at none against Create AI's 22. Whiteboard also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 17%). Create AI's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 3). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Create AI sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whiteboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

Create AI holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Create AI has 1.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Create AI's written reviews are positive against 50% of Whiteboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Create AI ships an update every 10 days, Whiteboard every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
