# Astro VPN vs SedaVPN

The clearest difference is rating: Astro VPN at 4.3 against SedaVPN's 1.8. SedaVPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (15 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astro VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SedaVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astro VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SedaVPN has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Astro VPN ships an update weekly, SedaVPN every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
