# Kumome vs DropGrid

The clearest difference is ads: Kumome at none against DropGrid's shown. DropGrid's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kumome sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and DropGrid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kumome ships an update every 4 months, DropGrid every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
