# CountX vs Unit Converter Max

The clearest difference is ads: Unit Converter Max at none against CountX's shown. Unit Converter Max also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). CountX's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%) and ratings volume (86 vs 26). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CountX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Unit Converter Max sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unit Converter Max holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 86 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CountX's written reviews are positive against 88% of Unit Converter Max's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CountX ships an update fortnightly, Unit Converter Max every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
