# Dumb Phone Launcher vs TinkleTools

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TinkleTools at 100% against Dumb Phone Launcher's 78%. Dumb Phone Launcher's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dumb Phone Launcher sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and TinkleTools sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dumb Phone Launcher holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dumb Phone Launcher has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Dumb Phone Launcher's written reviews are positive against 100% of TinkleTools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dumb Phone Launcher ships an update every 4 days, TinkleTools every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
