# ScreenFast vs TaskLock

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskLock at every 3 days against ScreenFast's fortnightly. ScreenFast's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScreenFast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and TaskLock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScreenFast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 10 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ScreenFast ships an update fortnightly, TaskLock every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
