# KobCard vs NoteKit

The clearest difference is rating: NoteKit at 5.0 against KobCard's 4.1. NoteKit also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). KobCard's advantage is ratings volume (377 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NoteKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KobCard has 377 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

KobCard ships an update every 3 weeks, NoteKit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
