# Fancy Typing vs Fonts

The clearest difference is ads: Fonts at none against Fancy Typing's shown. Fancy Typing's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 11 days) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fancy Typing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fonts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fancy Typing ships an update daily, Fonts every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
