# Bakeflix vs Hotskill

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hotskill at fortnightly against Bakeflix's every 6 months. Hotskill also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bakeflix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hotskill sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bakeflix ships an update every 6 months, Hotskill fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
