# Holy Scroll vs Bless

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Holy Scroll at none against Bless's 2. Holy Scroll also leads on ratings volume (91 vs 1). Bless's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bless sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Holy Scroll asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Holy Scroll against 5.0 for Bless. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Holy Scroll has 91 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
