# Avatone vs HoopBase

The clearest difference is ads: HoopBase at none against Avatone's shown. Avatone's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Avatone sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and HoopBase sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
