# Pub Encounter vs Ikemania

The clearest difference is rating: Pub Encounter at 5.0 against Ikemania's 4.1. Pub Encounter also leads on ads (none vs shown). Ikemania's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pub Encounter sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month and Ikemania sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pub Encounter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ikemania has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
