# Hack and slash clicker vs Spinning Driller

The clearest difference is rating: Spinning Driller at 5.0 against Hack and slash clicker's 4.8. Hack and slash clicker's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 24%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hack and slash clicker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Spinning Driller sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spinning Driller holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hack and slash clicker has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Hack and slash clicker's written reviews are positive against 24% of Spinning Driller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
