# Challenge Entertainment vs Crier App

The clearest difference is rating: Crier App at 4.8 against Challenge Entertainment's 4.3. Crier App also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 7). Challenge Entertainment's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Crier App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crier App has 57 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Challenge Entertainment's written reviews are positive against 90% of Crier App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Challenge Entertainment ships an update weekly, Crier App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
