# Stupid Notes vs Noteback

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Noteback at 16.4 against Stupid Notes's 18.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stupid Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per year and Noteback sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
