# War for Galaxy vs CrestForge

The clearest difference is update cadence: CrestForge at fortnightly against War for Galaxy's every 4 months. CrestForge also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. War for Galaxy sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and CrestForge sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

War for Galaxy ships an update every 4 months, CrestForge fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
