# QuitGambl vs Forerunner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Forerunner at free with in-app purchases against QuitGambl's subscription. Forerunner also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). QuitGambl's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuitGambl sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.49 per month and Forerunner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for QuitGambl against 5.0 for Forerunner. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 3 respectively.

QuitGambl ships an update every 3 weeks, Forerunner every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
