# SkinColor vs giftmaxxing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: giftmaxxing at 100% against SkinColor's 33%. giftmaxxing also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SkinColor's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (187 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SkinColor holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkinColor has 187 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of SkinColor's written reviews are positive against 100% of giftmaxxing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SkinColor ships an update every 9 days, giftmaxxing every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
