# Ares vs Nüwa

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nüwa at every 3 days against Ares's every 10 days. Nüwa also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). Ares's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ares sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Nüwa sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ares ships an update every 10 days, Nüwa every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
