# Viki AI vs Notex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notex at every 4 days against Viki AI's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Viki AI sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Notex sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Viki AI ships an update fortnightly, Notex every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
