# Package Tracker vs Photo Translator

The clearest difference is rating: Package Tracker at 5.0 against Photo Translator's 4.0. Package Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Package Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Photo Translator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Package Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Package Tracker has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Package Tracker ships an update every 5 days, Photo Translator every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
