# NoteLLM vs Honne

The clearest difference is update cadence: Honne at every 3 weeks against NoteLLM's every 7 months. NoteLLM's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteLLM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Honne sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteLLM ships an update every 7 months, Honne every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
