# Scrollnote vs Clema

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scrollnote at 100% against Clema's 46%. Scrollnote also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Clema's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Clema sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clema has 1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Scrollnote's written reviews are positive against 46% of Clema's.

Scrollnote ships an update weekly, Clema every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
