# VGE vs 3DG

The clearest difference is update cadence: 3DG at every 11 days against VGE's every 5 months. 3DG also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VGE ships an update every 5 months, 3DG every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
