# One More Step vs Custom Rings

The clearest difference is update cadence: Custom Rings at every 4 days against One More Step's fortnightly. Custom Rings also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. One More Step sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Custom Rings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

One More Step ships an update fortnightly, Custom Rings every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
