# Pro Camera vs AfterFace

The clearest difference is ads: AfterFace at none against Pro Camera's shown. Pro Camera's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Camera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and AfterFace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pro Camera against 5.0 for AfterFace. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pro Camera has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
