# Jamerator vs Cadence Chords

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cadence Chords at every 5 days against Jamerator's every 6 weeks. Cadence Chords also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jamerator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cadence Chords sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jamerator ships an update every 6 weeks, Cadence Chords every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
