# Jamerator vs Ear Training

The clearest difference is ads: Ear Training at none against Jamerator's shown. Ear Training also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jamerator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ear Training sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jamerator ships an update monthly, Ear Training fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
