# Preamble Education vs Trueven

The clearest difference is update cadence: Preamble Education at every 3 weeks against Trueven's every 5 months. Preamble Education also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preamble Education sells 23 one-off in-app purchases and Trueven sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
