# Readora vs ThisNovel

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Readora at 868 against ThisNovel's 4. Readora also leads on chart position (#132 vs unranked). ThisNovel's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 24%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readora sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and ThisNovel sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Readora against 4.0 for ThisNovel. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Readora has 868 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of Readora's written reviews are positive against 43% of ThisNovel's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
