# Minecore vs OctaCore

The clearest difference is update cadence: OctaCore at every 10 days against Minecore's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minecore sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and OctaCore sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Minecore ships an update every 6 weeks, OctaCore every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
