# Cartoon Yourself vs TipMate+

The clearest difference is rating: TipMate+ at 5.0 against Cartoon Yourself's 3.9. Cartoon Yourself's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cartoon Yourself sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and TipMate+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TipMate+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cartoon Yourself has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cartoon Yourself ships an update every 5 days, TipMate+ weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
