# Orb vs Bound

Orb and Bound both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bound's written reviews are positive against 68% of Orb's. Orb's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 24). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orb sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Bound sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Orb against 5.0 for Bound. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orb has 1.4K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Orb's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bound's.

Orb ships an update monthly, Bound every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
