# BookNPC vs 阅读阅多

BookNPC and 阅读阅多 both sit at 3.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of BookNPC's written reviews are positive against 50% of 阅读阅多's. 阅读阅多's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BookNPC sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 阅读阅多 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.5 for BookNPC against 3.5 for 阅读阅多. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 阅读阅多 has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of BookNPC's written reviews are positive against 50% of 阅读阅多's.

BookNPC ships an update weekly, 阅读阅多 every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
