# Conota vs GPS Map Camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GPS Map Camera at 100% against Conota's 50%. GPS Map Camera also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Conota's advantage is ratings volume (93 vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Conota sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GPS Map Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPS Map Camera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Conota has 93 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Conota's written reviews are positive against 100% of GPS Map Camera's.

Conota ships an update fortnightly, GPS Map Camera monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
