# VOR Simulator Pro vs FlightKit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VOR Simulator Pro at none against FlightKit's 4. VOR Simulator Pro also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 3). FlightKit's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightKit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. VOR Simulator Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

FlightKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VOR Simulator Pro has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VOR Simulator Pro ships an update every 2 months, FlightKit every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
