# SideMe vs Hackfy

The clearest difference is monetization model: SideMe at free with in-app purchases against Hackfy's subscription. SideMe also leads on ratings volume (270 vs 1). Hackfy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SideMe sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hackfy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hackfy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SideMe has 270 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SideMe ships an update fortnightly, Hackfy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
