# SideMe vs W3Schools

The clearest difference is update cadence: W3Schools at every 4 days against SideMe's fortnightly. W3Schools also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SideMe sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and W3Schools sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SideMe against 4.7 for W3Schools. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 270 and 121 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of SideMe's written reviews are positive against 71% of W3Schools's.

SideMe ships an update fortnightly, W3Schools every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
