# Dots vs The Daily Code

The clearest difference is ads: Dots at none against The Daily Code's shown. The Daily Code's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dots sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and The Daily Code sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dots ships an update every 4 weeks, The Daily Code daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
