# Read vs Lectory

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Read at 11.0 against Lectory's 16.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Read sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lectory sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
