# MEGA vs Купер PRO

The clearest difference is rating: Купер PRO at 5.0 against MEGA's 4.5. Купер PRO also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). MEGA's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Купер PRO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MEGA has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MEGA ships an update every 3 weeks, Купер PRO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
