# MEGA vs KazanMall

The clearest difference is monetization model: KazanMall at free against MEGA's ad-supported. MEGA's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MEGA ships an update every 3 weeks, KazanMall every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
