# MEGA vs Снежная Королева

The clearest difference is ads: MEGA at none against Снежная Королева's shown. MEGA also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Снежная Королева's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (446 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Снежная Королева holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Снежная Королева has 446 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of MEGA's written reviews are positive against 57% of Снежная Королева's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MEGA ships an update every 3 weeks, Снежная Королева fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
