# MEGA vs FLX

The clearest difference is update cadence: FLX at every 2 days against MEGA's every 3 weeks. MEGA's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MEGA ships an update every 3 weeks, FLX every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
