# Pluc vs Open When

The clearest difference is ads: Open When at none against Pluc's shown. Open When also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 months). Pluc's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pluc sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Open When sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
