# Brook ARFlash vs Hundo Hunter

The clearest difference is rating: Hundo Hunter at 3.0 against Brook ARFlash's 2.6. Hundo Hunter also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Brook ARFlash's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (23% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brook ARFlash sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Hundo Hunter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hundo Hunter holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brook ARFlash has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Brook ARFlash's written reviews are positive against 0% of Hundo Hunter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brook ARFlash ships an update every 2 weeks, Hundo Hunter every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
