# BrainApps vs GymKeeper

The clearest difference is update cadence: GymKeeper at every 9 days against BrainApps's every 6 weeks. BrainApps's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainApps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and GymKeeper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrainApps ships an update every 6 weeks, GymKeeper every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
