# Canary vs Bragi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Canary at weekly against Bragi's every 3 weeks. Canary also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Bragi's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 52%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Canary sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Bragi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Canary holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 420 and 208 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Canary's written reviews are positive against 64% of Bragi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Canary ships an update weekly, Bragi every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
